Sarah Samarasinghe comes to Sandler Search with a background in fundraising and development and executive search. Earlier in her career, Sarah served as the director of development for Beginning with Children Foundation and City Year New York where she was responsible for raising millions of dollars in private sector funds and growing the development team. Most recently, Sarah was a director at a nonprofit search firm where she focused on executive level development, operations, and leadership searches.

Sarah has a B.A. from the University of Colorado and an MBA with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from George Washington University. Sarah lives in Manhattan with her husband, two awesome sons, and the latest addition to their family – Pearl, the cat. Sarah spends her free time visiting the NY Public Library which supports her bottomless reading habit, seeing on and off-Broadway shows, listening to live music, exploring the NYC restaurant scene, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
