ABOUT US: Founded in 2010, Sandler Search is a leading boutique retained executive search firm. We recruit senior-level leaders for nonprofit, education, social impact and philanthropic organizations such as Teach For America, New York Road Runners, Sarah Lawrence College, and Equal Justice Works. Sandler Search has offices located in New York City and Chicago and recruits nationally.
THE ROLE: You will be a key member of the search team and will:
Maintain and update a state-of-the-art, proprietary database, performing data entry to ensure all research and search activities are properly documented for new and existing candidates and clients;
Update client and candidate information for the team including creating vCards, Outlook invites and meeting confirmations;
Create candidate and client documents using Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe;
Conduct original research relevant to each individual search using web-based capabilities; and
Identify ways to improve our database usage and reporting.
ABOUT YOU: Are you mission-driven and detail-oriented? Do you think about social impact and care about people and community? Additionally, we are looking for:
A bachelor’s degree plus prior 1-2 years professional or internship experience; background in nonprofit, technology, research, project management or library science preferred; and
A positive outlook, strong work ethic and performance, and a sense of humor.
Extremely organized with strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through skills; and
Database savvy with a facility for quickly and effectively performing online research, data entry and other computer tasks.
